Noble Hawk features wonderful conditioning from tee to green and also boasts Northern Indiana's most comprehensive practice facility and learning center with a targeted grass range, 13,000 square foot putting green and short game area with practice bunkers. The clubhouse includes a pro shop, restaurant/lounge with hot and cold sandwiches, plus locker facilities for men and women. A separate outing pavilion can seat up to 200 players, and affords an ideal setting for banquets and award presentations. The golf carts here are wonderfully compartmentalized, presenting a convenience of storage and also have golf bag partitions in back, which prevent the bags (for single golfers) from sliding all over the place...
On the course 100, 150 and 200 yard markers are located on the fairways, and 150 yard stakes double as directional devices. Color coded flags indicate the day's hole locations. Bunkering on the fairways and greenside is abundant, and water comes into play on many holes, with 5 large ponds plus numerous steams and creeks dissecting the fairways. Four sets of tees provide opportunities to play to yardages and slopes measuring 6817 yards/132 slope, 6411 yards/130 slope, 6007 yards/126 slope and 5008 yards/121 slope. As the slope ratings indicate - this is a fair yet challenging round of golf!
Noble Hawk Golf Links presents wide rolling fairways which can be navigated by most levels of players. Greenside is where the challenge lies however, as the putting complexes are designed with tiers, ridges and undulations, and often surrounded by mounding, swales and collection areas. Wood retaining walls often form the backdrop. Holes 11 through 15 are the best stretch of the course - with very undulating terrain that provides outstanding beauty and challenge. This is a wonderful golfing value - and is highly recommend by the two guys who golf . Noble Hawk is just a 2 1/2 hour drive from Detroit.
