There is a putting green adjacent to the beautiful Indiana National clubhouse, which includes a spacious pro shop and restaurant/lounge - with a wonderful outdoor patio providing great golf course views.
East Course Review
The East Course is the more target orientated of the two courses, with water in play in some shape or form on all eighteen holes. Some short carries are necessary off the tee, and doglegs in either direction create the need for some correct placements on the fairways. Number thirteen is one of the more interesting and challenging holes of the layout - with a creek to carry off the tee, and another on the approach. The putting surfaces are medium in size and only mildly undulating with gentle slopes. Land in regulation and the possibilities of par or better are good.
Four sets of tees play to distance and slopes measuring 6950 yards/127 slope, 6343 yards/122 slope, 5436 yards/114 slope - with an alternate set for juniors and beginners at 4368 yards. While players from the tips will be challenged to avoid the many water hazards, novice and resort golfers will find the layout enjoyable and quite playable.
The East course is rated four stars by Golf Digest Places to Play and is characterized by a good variety in hole design with ample risk/reward opportunities. Landscaping and conditioning get high marks, even on our early spring visit. For more info, visit our page for the Indiana National East course, with direct link to their website by clicking here
