The two championship courses at Swan Lake are designed for the enjoyment of both seasoned golfers, and for those just learning the game. The West Course offers wide fairways, large greens and more margin for error - on four sets of tees that play to distances and slopes ranging from 6942 yards/129 slope to 4576 yards/116 slope. The East Course is more target-oriented with water in play on every hole in some shape or form - also with 4 sets of tees that measure between 6950 yards/127 slope to 4368 yards/114 slope.

Golf carts are equipped with an on-board GPS which provides exact yardages on every shot. There is a 5-hole practice course, plus range, short game area, putting green and Golf Academy. The Golf Academy on property at Swan Lake makes this resort an ideal place to stay for folks wishing to establish continuity and discipline to their games. On Our short visit, we were able to experience an introductory lesson, which helped considerably - inspiring us to go back for more! The facilities include:

An outdoor pool is located adjacent to the accommodation's building, and the indoor pool rests in a beautiful, modern setting that also includes a workout center and two Jacuzzis. Rest rooms with changing areas, lockers and showers are nearby. A full service spa with salon and treatment rooms is on property! Washing machines and dryers are also featured in this area of the complex. Tennis courts are available within walking distance, as is Sam Snead's Restaurant and Tavern, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

How to Get There:

From the north or south, follow U.S. 31 to the U.S. 30 exchange. Exit and travel west on U.S. 30 - 7 miles to Queen Rd. Turn right on Queen Rd. and then turn immediately left onto Plymouth-LaPorte Trail and follow the signs to Swan Lake Resort. Visit website for directions from the east and west.
