Purgatory Golf Club is not only the longest golf course east of the Mississippi, it is also one of the finest in the Indianaplois area. This links inspired championship design features wonderful conditioning along a rolling terrain with plentiful white (crushed limestone) sand bunkers and fescue mounding.

On property is an expansive wooden clubhouse with pro shop, banquet/outing facilities, plus restaurant with outdoor patio and full bar. Practice facilities include a targeted grass range, putting  green and short game area with multiple sand bunkers. Ranked #87 in Golf Digest's 2005 listing of the Top 100 Courses You Can Play In America. Was #1 rated public course in Indiana in 2005 and also was rated in the TOP 50 Women's Friendly courses in the US by Golfing For Women Magazine. DIRECTIONS

From Indianapolis: take Keystone Ave (US 431) or Meridian (US 31) north to 116th Street and head east to I-69/Sr 37 north. Take 37 north (at split) towards Noblesville to 216th Street; turn right (east) on 216th street to purgatory - about 3/4 mile on left
